Hear me, and hear me clearly.

The idea that if teens hear, see, or read anything relating to sex they’ll immediately start sucking and fucking and throw themselves at whoever created it is The Exact Same kind of dehumanization that said women hearing about this that or the other will make them hysterical.

Especially when you’re saying that Over real humans trying to discuss their own curiosities, relationships, and dialogs around the concept when they were kids. (Spoiler, a lot of us made sex joke with our buddies)

The exact worse thing you can do to protect children is relegate even the mention of sex to the “adult things” drawer. Not only does that deny them information about and respect over the autonomy of their own bodies. But this is how you make a power dynamic that an abusive adult can take advantage of. You are creating the carrot an abuser will dangle.
