Boycott More Than Black Friday

While striking is on all the cool kid’s minds, shall I propose something.
I know a lot of folks have been boycotting buying stuff on black friday sales. But have y’all noticed that tha sales just last through the first week of January (maybe it’s new. Maybe it’s not. Holidays are a hard time for me so I intentionally try and ignore stores for chunks of the year)
Would it be unrealistic to talk about no frivilous shopping in all of November and December?
Try to make a lasting shake in the system, not just push their earnings off a week
