People of color that internalize and embrace the full picture of how we entangle, push, and pull on each other’s lives.
That aren’t afraid of the reality of how we form jagged edges against some, because these patterns are reflected in more than just our own windows of life.
That live by the values and practices that help ease the collective burden upon us, not simply pass the struggle down the line.

We are a we not separate from them, but enamored with the work in spite of them. In love with the reflections we put out to the world in spite of them. Shining bright in spite of them.
Shining bright For each other, regardless of if their ungrateful asses understand the foundation we set for them.
We are not separate from them, but our kaleidoscope centers us; our work, our depth, our beauty, our vision.

People of color shining lights in the shape of a present we can be proud of, casting rays a thousand ways. Giving one another a pattern to follow.
