Time and Trauma (1?)

This is such a “not for everybody” post. But…

And maybe this has been said before, but I’m explaining it like I was five less than 24 hours ago.

So, scientifically, time is not linear and all moments happen at once.
Linear time is how the mind interprets and processes change.


Trauma is when the emotional response of a moment is too much to process.


So trauma and PTSD are moments that have not finished this process and thus stay in our “present” peripheral, waiting to be slotted into a place of percieved chronology.
